Dear Neighbor,

The YWCA Harmony House, supports the Women Shelters of Palm Beach County. These shelters provide support to women and children, who are victims of domestic violence.  Unity in Pines Church, a non-denominational, not for profit, spiritual organization residing in West Palm Beach, also supports this cause.  Every year for the month of November we have issued a fund-raiser in behalf of these shelters in our community. We do this by promoting to friends and members of our spiritual center and to businesses and companies in the community to help support, by donating the necessary items needed to keep these women and children, safe and healthy

We are not hosting an actual event day as we have in prior years, instead we are designating the entire month of November in collecting, non-perishable food items, personal care items, small new toys for children checks and certificates. You may drop these donations off at the above stated address on Sundays, Mondays or Wednesdays, between the hours of 12 and 3 pm. Checks should be made out to, YWCA of Palm Beach County, with “Harmony House” noted in the memo line.

I would like to thank you in advance for your generous, compassionate giving in support of these Shelters.

For more information, call the Unity in the Pines church office at 561-478-5454.  If we are not available when you call, please leave a message and someone will get back to you.
